Grandpa and Leprechauns

St. Patrick's day was extra special this year, as we had a guest! Grandpa was in town for just a day, and we made the most of it. Poor Grandpa... we dragged him all over. ALL over.

The day started off with a special scavenger hunt. The kids proved they had what it took to be honorary junior leprechauns. The went all over the house, solving the riddles and finding the gold coins, rainbow (chalk), hats, and even mustaches.

After our grand adventure around the house, we whisked Grandpa off to Sea World.

So many places she
wants to show her Grandpa.

Walking through the shark tunnel.
Well... Steven was more like sprinting.
He's not so cool with these sharks.

Steven posed for this picture under duress.

Yee haw, turtle!

Picture perfect posing spot.

 Grandpa was Adelaide's
buddy on the roller coaster.

After Sea World, we still had a few hours before Grandpa needed to go to the airport. So, we took him to one of our favorite taco shops for some chips in the ring.

Wall of Champions!

Let's get ready to rumble!

Me too! Like sissy!

Helllooo... restaurant.

Me too! Like sissy!

Two dudes.

Then, it was time to say goodbye. The kids reluctantly let Grandpa out of the car when we pulled up to his gate. Not that they had much of a choice, they were strapped in. The kids all fell asleep on the way home in the car, we suspect Grandpa might have napped on the plane. Hopefully, Grandpa had as much fun as we did.
