π Day

It's national Pi Day, and this kids' school celebrated with a science night. The kids love when the school has evening activities. Not only are they pretty fun, Mom doesn't have time to take everyone home for dinner. So, it generally means fast food.

 Happy Meals... Yasss!!!

After pounding our junk food, we made off to the auditorium to feed our brains with good ol' science and engineering fun.

Oreo Eclipses... yay, more junk food.

Prisms of light

Air bazookas

Magnets making electricity

Marble rolling... this was gravity or something,
whatever, it was fun.

Making catapults and learning about fulcrums...
but mostly learning about shooting things.

Testing counterweights and pendulums

Helping Steven hear the shore

Made on the school 3d printer

After a fun night being scientists, the boys were inspired to pull out the robot costumes they made for arts and crafts at preschool. We couldn't convince them to color in their masks. Cool dudes.

Walk like a robot, walk like a robot.
