Every December, Balboa Park hosts a weekend of "December Nights" in which the museums are free. We decided to check it out. We didn't actually stay until the crowds and free museums, because we had a date with Grandma and Grandpa for dinner. But, we enjoyed checking out all the vendor booths which were already open and seeing the park decorated for the season. Melinda got some blown glass ornaments, the kids were wowed by a didgeridoo, and the Lyft booth gave us free family pictures.
The Timken had all their handmade ornaments up.
