Holiday Happenings

December is a fun month. We bake cookies, go to parties, admire the lights. And, we've been doing all those things.

We've done the Santa Claus picture routine a couple times, and the boys have figured it out. Smile for a candy cane? Easy!

Our dentist had a Christmas party with
Santa! Adelaide won the raffle and got a Jamba Juice gift card.

At the Ward Christmas Party. Adelaide
had no idea this Santa was her piano teacher's husband.

Candy Cane? Now?

 And another one!

 Last one! Thanks Santa.

Around the house, we've been doing crafts, baking and, of course, Legos. Matt and the girls have expanded the Christmas village and even added some pretend snow. Matt sprinkled silly characters, like knights and ninjas, into the village, which the kids love to sit and look for.

The weather has been warm, but the leaves are finally starting to fall. Melinda was able to make a small pile for the kids to play in. It wasn't long before the leaves were mulch. But they had a lot of fun.

 Wahoo!

 Leaves!
