We've been wanted to get out to the temple to see the lights all season. This evening, we finally made it out. We pulled into the parking lot just before dusk and watched the lights blink on as the light dimmed.
We made the kids take a few pictures, then the girls took over the camera and took a few pictures too.

Eleanor's awesome photography.
A great shot from Adelaide
After visiting the lights, we headed up to Grandpa Thomas's house for fun and fondue. Aunt Karina amazingly put on a huge fondue party with several fondue pots bubbling around the room and lots of dipping choices. It was a lot of work, and we all ate through it quickly.
The "kid table."
Kids were actually playing on the floor.
The grown-up table.
Full and happy, we headed home to go to bed and get ready for Christmas. Usually, we let the kids open up one present on Christmas Eve. And, it always pajamas. But, the kids have a lot of pajamas. Lots. So, we didn't do pajamas this year. Upon learning this, Adelaide began to negotiate for an alternate present. So, we allowed them to open Aunt Kristin's presents.
Presents! SO happy!
Steven went to sleep hugging this.
Dinosaur puzzles? His favorite things put together.
She named her Snowy. So much love.
Once the children were tucked all snug in their beds, Matt and Melinda got to work stuffing stockings and taking countless trips down the stairs to place all the presents we've been hiding under the tree.
We're Ready!
