When cancer stole Matt's cousin Ashley from us, Adelaide wanted to do something. We spent a lot of time talking about cancer, treatments, courage and love.
In all of our conversations, somehow the topic of hair loss and wigs came up. Adelaide knew exactly what she wanted to do to honor her cousin Ashley. It took a year, but she finally grew her hair out long enough to donate 10 inches to Locks of Love. Her small way of supporting those that are fighting cancer and other illness.
Every few weeks she'd ask us to measure her hair to see if it was long enough yet. She was determined and persistent. Finally, after a year of growth, it was long enough to donate.
