We have our very own spelling bee champ! Victor of the Kindergartener spelling bee and owner of a new plush monkey. Eleanor was there to lend her full support and bunny ears to the moment.

Melinda got to hear about the entire exciting event on FaceTime, since she was in New Orleans for a business trip. Traveling for business isn't the best, but this trip allowed Melinda to catch up with a very old friend from elementary school. Jessica and Melinda haven't gotten together since high school, and it was so fun to catch up over dinner, meet Jessica's husband Nate and show off pictures of the kids.

Meanwhile, back at home, Dad kept things moving. Eleanor looked fabulous for Rock Star Day!
She's a super star.
When Mom got home, she had a toy airplane for Steven and Mardi Gras masks for the girls. They were so excited. And, on Saturday the girls got to go on a special ice skating date with Mom to make up for missed time.
