Steven is too cute, too charming and now he's two too!
He's adorable and he knows it.
Last year, we celebrated Steven's birthday in a hotel. Matt was sick with food poisoning and Steven didn't like the taste of his cake (girls' were happy to help out there). This year, we were able to do it right, with streams, balloons and a cake that Steven gobbled up.
Steven didn't really know what a "birthday"
is, but he was all for a table covered in
lego decorations. Legos! Legos!
Adelaide and Eleanor were so excited to give
him their present.
Which was an instant hit.
He got the hang of this present thing pretty quickly.

Happy Birthday Steven! We are so lucky to have you in our family. You've been our little boy for a whole year now. And, what an amazing year - watching you learn to sit, crawl, walk and then run! You are full of energy, mischief and joy. You love your sisters, and they fuss over you endlessly. You're learning to throw some pretty good fits, just like a two year old should. You dance and sing and hug and high five and love legos, balls and anything the wheels or wings.
