We kicked off St. Patrick's Day with our annual scavenger hunt.
The girls had green outfits laid out the night before. They even laid out Steven's new Yoda shirt for him. Once they were all completely tickle-proof (no pinching at our house), they set out looking for their treasure hunt.
When Melinda's folks were in town, they gave the girls a leprechaun fridge magnet that came in sections. Alas, he got so excited it was St. Patrick's Day that he broke into pieces. The girls followed his trail all over the house until they were able to reassemble their pal and get the reward.
Steven wasn't super enthusiastic about the scavenger hunt, but he was very excited when he saw the green leprechaun train.

Adelaide reading Eleanor their
instructions.
And they're off!
Fortunately, many of the toys were helping.
Eleanor's puppy Luna stood guard over one piece.
He's back! And, they earned a
bowl o' gold chocolate coins.

Choo! Choo!
We celebrated in the evening with Irish soda bread and cabbage soup. Yum! Happy St. Patrick's Day!
