With annual passes, we go to Legoland so often that most of our trips don't warrant a blog post or a bunch of photographs. But, today was a special trip to Legoland because the girls got to go with their cousin Olivia, who was visiting from San Francisco on one last pre-kindergarten hurrah!
Matt wasn't able to get work off, but fortunately Doug, Angela and Alyssa were happy to help take turns going on rides with our crew. Angela was even nice enough to wait with Steven for several of the rides so Melinda could go on with the girls.
The girls hadn't seen Alyssa since they were babies, but quickly decided that she was awesome and Eleanor in particular wanted to ride every rollercoaster with her.

The Death Star hasn't seen such an
adorable Father/Daughter pair since
Leia blasting Lord Vader's storm troopers.
So chill
Adelaide and Eleanor were very excited to
show Olivia the new Heartlake City area.
Don't forget Steven! He's such a great
sport on these trips.
Yikes! Doug channeling his
inner Simba.
The aftermath
After a full day of fun, the girls crashed hard on the way home. Steven, who took a nap in the stroller, enjoyed poking them and putting toys on their feet.
Eleanor had a particularly awesome day because she finally hit the 40 inch mark. For months she's been just barely under the mark. First half an inch, then a quarter of an inch, then so small it was barely noticeable but you could technically still see light... And, she's been so patient, hopping with every visit that maybe she'd FINALLY be able to ride the dragon roller coast. And, today, she made it! Her head just touches the bottom of the 40 inch bar. She was SO happy and loved the roller coaster. She's already looking forward to her next "level up" in rollercoasters, the technic coaster. Only two more inches to go!
