Happy Birthday Adelaide!

Our yankee doodle baby is one year old today!  We're so excited that we are throwing a HUGE party - pictures to follow in a later post.

In this post, we'd like to reflect on the last twelve wonderful and amazing months with Adelaide. Everyday she learns new things, grows a little more, makes us laugh, and brings us joy. She's worth every minute of lost sleep and so much more. We are lucky to be her parents.

Brand New! Just a few minutes old.

(8 lbs 12 ounces, 21 inches)

One month old and such a cuddler.

Two months old and discovering her toys.

Three months old and still using her pacifier. 

She doesn't discover how tasty her thumb is until six months.

Four months old and ready for solids. 

She would still eat oatmeal for every meal if we let her.

Five months old and playing with her Dad. 

She loves rough housing with him 

more and more as she grows.

Our little style icon at six months old.

Seven months old and she loves being pushed sky-high. 

It's finally warm enough for the park.

Nine months old and she's crawling 

on the floor and cruisin' on the furniture.

Ten months old and no longer able to sit still. 

Good luck cuddling her unless she's asleep.

Eleven months old. All that brown hair has been 

replaced with blonde. When did that happen?
