Adelaide walks! Kinda of, sort of...a little bit. After months of dragging us around the house by our fingers, Adelaide took her first independent steps on Friday. She was after Mom's blackberry. Very shortly after her first walk, she went on her first run. This time, she was escaping the Tickle Monster (Dad).
Documenting this fancy footwork has been somewhat challenging. She still prefers to hold onto a finger or two, instead of going solo. But, with a little persistence and a lot of giggling, we managed to get enough video to satisfy the grandparents out west.
Here is one small clip of the many we took in order to properly document this new achievement.
In addition to upgrading her mode of transportation this week, Adelaide also learned how to put her stacking rings back on their post as well as how to say, "All Done!" Some pretty major accomplishments for such a little girl.
