August has been a fun month! The girls miss their school friends, but have been able to keep in touch through parties and playdates.
The girls had a really great time at Ethan's Nerf War birthday party.

Fierce!
Eleanor's didn't have a lot of bullets,
but it turned into a purse! Priorities.
We also were able to meet up with the Vaughn family at SeaWorld. Jefferson was SO excited to see the SeaWorld parade. The other kids were all pretty sure we were torturing them. But, Jefferson ignored them and got his Elmo Dance Party on.
YAY!
Quick! Everyone grab a brother and pose.
Theme Park Mac N Cheese
Braving the cold to see the belugas.
Cirque Electric was phenomenal!
Flipping jet skis, acrobats, and more!
And, we got to see another dear friend. Olivia was back again! Two visits in two months? These girls are so happy to be cousins.
HUGS!
Alyssa and Raj joined us!
In other news, Eleanor is having a silent sock protest. All the kids have grown a lot this summer. We recently shifted a lot of clothing from Adelaide's drawers to Eleanor's. In the shift, Eleanor realized that she and Adelaide didn't have any more matching shirts.
She complained, she whined, she pleaded... and yet Mom did not take her straight to Target to buy new shirts. So, for a week and counting, Eleanor has been making sure to wear the same color socks as Adelaide… so they can at least have matching feet... because she HAS to match her sister. Adelaide thinks the protest is fantastic and makes sure to check that Eleanor has the same color in her drawer before grabbing socks. Silly girls.
SILENT SOCK PROTEST!
It was an incredible protest, one we didn't want to disrupt by reminding her that she and Adelaide still have matching school uniforms. But, alas, every amazing protest must end. In preparation for our trip to Universal Studios, we got the girls Harry Potter shirts... and guess who ended up matching her sister?
Balance Restored!
