We've enjoyed volunteering at the school's information booth at the downtown Chinese New Year festival for the past few years, and this year was no exception.
The girls had a great time being ambassadors for their school, and hurling fortune cookies at every passerby. Better still, the booth next door was run by their Shifu's sister, who did free face painting for them. So, they looked marvelous while doing their job.

Steven could not be happier
and only wished it was more permanent.
While the girls Ni Hao-ed all that passed by, the boys investigated the festival, made paper lanterns, and chased lion dancers. When the girls got off their shift, the boys happily took them around their favorite spots, especially the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum.
