Somebody is FIVE

Someone awesome turned five this week!

 AWESOME!

Wait, wait. Pantless super hero diaper dudes are awesome, but they aren't the birthday boys. How about...

AWESOME!

Well, batman is super awesome. But that's not it either... we're looking for...

AWESOME!

There she is! Our cuddly,  kind-hearted, caring, wonderful Eleanor turned five! We could go on and on about much we love this girl (and oh we do!). But, we'll let Eleanor describe herself in her own words.
  • I love to ... ride my bike.
  • I do not like to ... hit my siblings.
  • I want to ... go to Hawaii.
  • I get in trouble when I ... dance on the table.
  • The best thing about me ... I'm really good at loving people.

To celebrate our table dancing, bike riding little almost-kindergartner, we spent the night at the Legoland hotel.

 Arrgh! Pirate Room.

 Steven's new best buddy

 It's Spiderman!
(Close buddy, close.)

 Strike a pirate pose!
Are you sure these are pirate poses?
Yes? Okay then. Cheeeese!

 Adelaide was beyond impressed by
her Dad's Lego light saber building skills.

 Where's the birthday girl?

Batman and Batgirl, ready to save
Gotham Ci...err.. Legoland.

 It no moving! Broken, mama!

 Building Bat Mobiles.

Do you sleep upside down?

In addition to her Legoland celebration, Grandpa Phil made Eleanor her favorite bundt cake. And, she got PINK cupcakes from mom to take to school to share with her friends.

 Steven coming in with the
wish assistance.

Five year old girls still like to snuggle
their sisters.

Eleanor's "baby butterflies" were a favorite gift.

When it's your birthday, you can wear a dress,
and eat mac n' cheese for dinner while watching Pokemon.

 So many fun presents!

After her birthday party was done, Eleanor went to her room and cleaned everything up. It was late, and we told her she could tidy up the next day. But, she insisted. She was five now, and she was worried her big five-year-old feet might step on more things and get hurt. Sure... sure... now into bed with you. What do you know, the very next day, her "big five year old feet" didn't fit into any of the shoes that fit the day before. Good thing Mom keeps a box of "next size up" shoes read in the closet.

We can't slow down your growing. But, we're enjoying every moment with you, our sweet, sassy, smart Nora Bee. Happy Birthday!
