First Day of Kindergarten

What on earth... how did this happen? Our little girl is in Kindergarten!

We'll probably feel like this every new school year, but, really, who gave her permission to grow up so fast?!

Adelaide sure was cute in her Barnard Asian Pacific Languages Academy polo and skorts.

She was extra excited about the skorts.

After all her anticipation and excitement, her verdict for the first day was.... kindergarten is terrible. Poor girl. The boys are loud and the teacher didn't call on her when she had a great answer to the question. And, she wanted to study and do lessons but they spent the whole day practicing getting in line and learning the bathroom rules.

 

But, after talking it over with Mom, she's decided to give it another chance. Because, her new friend Emily does sit right across from her and there is PE later this week. Also, we gave her an ice cream cone.

 

Only 13 more grades to go kiddo!
