Happy Father’s Day!

Today is Father’s Day – a day we love to celebrate because we have an awesome Daddy in the house. And, tomorrow is Matt’s birthday! That means back-to-back Matt-themed blog posts are heading your way, lucky you.

We kicked our Father’s Day celebrations off with our somewhat, traditional holiday breakfast - novelty pancakes.

Then Adelaide was so excited to show Matt his presents. She’s been trying to give them to him all week, forcing Melinda to change the hiding place after she told her Daddy where they were and then tried to drag them out for him to see. Never trust a toddler with a secret!

Adelaide was extremely helpful in wrapping the presents. She picked out the paper and stuck on all of the bows. She also helped with the tape, which may be why there is so little left on the roll. Needless to say, the presents were well wrapped.

We loved having a laid back, all about Dad day. And, we even got to spend some quality time with Grandpa on Skype. We sure are lucky to have such an awesome, hard working Dad! We can’t wait to shower him with love and presents all over again tomorrow.

These girls sure do love their Daddy.
