First of all...

Eleanor has had a lot of “firsts” lately. Last Saturday, she rolled over from her tummy to her back for the first time (and second, and third, and so forth).  This morning, she figured out how to roll from her back to her tummy.

Eleanor is using her newfound skill to keep track of everyone in the family. She flips back and forth to keep Mom, Dad and sister in sight while she’s playing on the ground. As you may imagine, Adelaide gives Eleanor quite a bit of exercise with all her running around.

Adelaide loves to play with Eleanor during tummy time sessions.
She brings her toys, sings her songs and cheers for her when she rolls.

Eleanor had another BIG first today. First food! She’s four months old now and so it’s time to introduce some simple solids. Today, she discovered the joy of rice cereal. She figured out the spoon system on the second bite and happily slurped up her cereal.

Hmmm... this is new.

Let me help you with that, Daddy.

More! More! MORE!

Yum! Yum! Yum!

Where does the time go? Our little Eleanor is getting so big! We’re all pretty crazy about this little grinning cutie.

She's like a baby Pollyanna.
Almost always cheerful and smiling!
