A Jensen-Fix

We won’t name names, but someone has issued a complaint that we’ve been lax in our updates lately.  It’s true; we won’t deny it. There has been a definite decrease in texting, Facebook posting, e-mailing and phone calling at our house.

Melinda just started a new position at work in the e-commerce department, which comes with new opportunities and a lot of new training. Matt’s work is ramping up. We’ve been booked up with food drives, potlucks, and a myriad of other activities. Our dishwasher gave out (not Matt, the appliance one). There’s the toddler…and the pregnancy. So, yeah, we’ve been slacking on our communications.

For those of you in need of a quick Jensen-fix, here are some random, but recent pictures of Adelaide in somewhat chronological order. Enjoy!

We've read these so many times,
she's probably got the stories memorized.

Adelaide picked out this sweet combo.

This one too. Note the understated contradiction
of the star-spangled pants and purple shirt,
complemented by the whimsically paired shoes.
(She's playing with an old pacifier.)

Her feet aren't even CLOSE to
the peddles. But, she still loves trying.

Harvesting potatoes with Dad!

Adelaide is pretty impressed by this statue...
or by Mom taking her picture. Hard to tell.

Outside of Lincoln's Cottage...in the rain.

Helping Dad harvest basil for pesto.
(Shredding leaves and putting them on the ground next to the bowl.)

Thumb-break.

Adelaide thinks she's tackling him.

  3. I haven't been blog stalking many people lately and I didn't realize Adelaide had gotten SO BIG! It feels like just yesterday we were all eating crepes in the German house and having competitions to see what language had the biggest word (were you there for that? I can't remember, but it was awesome.)

My V starts kindergarten next year. For REALS! Holy cow I almost have a kid in school. That makes me feel old, and yet... I am so young... :-/

Anyway, it was great to see pics of you guys!
