School Performances + A Mail Surprise

The boys' school had their bi-annual family nights. The boys have been so excited, practicing their songs all around the house and reminding us that it was coming for the past two weeks.

They were so cute singing their songs, loud and clear! It's always so fun to see them playing with their friends. Jefferson was immediately mobbed by Lauren, Mia and all the other girls from the class. Steven ran off with his buddy Brennan. They were in their element.

During their song, Steven looked at the girl next to him during a small break in the music and told her, "You look beautiful." She smiled and said, "Thank you." Then they both turned to the front and continued singing, oblivious to all the parents that just want, "Awww!"

Dance party in the quad!

The family night party wasn't the only exciting thing to happen this week. The kids got a surprise package from Grandma Jones. She had purchased adorable hooded towels for the children from a talented seamstress at her church. Each one was custom made based on the kids' individual likes and interests. They were so excited! Eleanor refused to give hers up for the night and slept cuddling it. The boys were looking forward to their next bath (amazing). And, Adelaide just couldn't believe how detailed the sorting hat on her towel was.

 What's inside?

Alas, shaking it did not help.

 She especially liked the heart.

 Let's rip these suckers open!

 Spiderman!

Captain America!

 Sorted into Hufflepuff!
Unicorn!
(Of note, it matches her shirt)

Thanks Grandma Jones and Grandpa Kerry!
