When you live in year-round pleasant weather, camping in September involves swimsuits and shorts. Adelaide's best buddy since kindergarten, Lauren, and her family invited us to join them at a campground in south San Diego.
It was so much fun to take advantage of all the campground activities, including their giant pool, as well as eat tin foil dinners and roast marshmallows. Karen and Jay were way more prepared than we were, they brought a huge bucket of toys including giant balls and bubbles.
Lauren was dancing in the Balboa Park Moon Festival, so needed to take a quick break to leave for her performance. Adelaide went along to cheer for her bestie. Then it was back for marshmallows!
