Today we went to one of our favorite places, Old Town, to get our family portraits done. This location also offered easy bribery for the kids. Smile big and we will take you to the root beer store.
Bribes work. The kids did great. We are so excited to have these photos so twenty years from now we can look back and remember what we looked like in 2017... or would have looked like, if we were spruced up all the time.

Jensens...by a tree!
Jensens... on a table!
Jensens... hugging!
Steven, super handsome, right?
Adelaide could not be prettier.
Hello beautiful Eleanor!
Jefferson is dialing up the charm.
When the boys could pose no more,
the sisters adorabled onward.
So, the kids earned their root beer. And, since they were smiley, Matt was able to practice using his phone's new portrait mode setting on them. Not quite as slick as the professional, but still pretty darn good!
Her very own bottle of soda - didn't
even have to share!
Yummm!
Blue is Adelaide's favorite.
Mom hugs.
Steven picked the one with
a rocket on it!
Sea Dogs.
Cool dude, hanging with Mom.
More headshots.
Because we can.
Cheese!
Hi Daddy's Phone!
Being in Old Town, we also got to check out their Day of the Dead decorations, which were amazing! Floral sculptures, brightly colored murals, and festive skeletons.
Dia de Los Muertos touristy photo
Steven said this was his "scared" face...
or his "scary" face? We couldn't tell.
Her dress was made from marigolds and other flowers!
And, since this post is mostly about photos, here are a few more of our favorite from today. This evening, Three Treasures held their annual Costume Ball for the kids. There was music, dancing, and lots of food. The girls discovered the magic of DOUBLE ice cream cones.
SO much ice cream!
Real, not posed reaction to the mega cone.
