Happy Birthday Melinda! Another year older, another year wiser? Well... older at least.
We celebrated over the weekend with a trip to Balboa Park to see the Museum of Man and the Natural History Museum. Both have a ton of fun kid activities. Though, Jefferson and Steven were pretty confused why the mummy room didn't have anything about mom in it. Good question guys, good question.
We ended the day with cake and ice cream, just the way every good birthday should end.

Update (9/7): About once a month, Melinda abandons her homework and sneaks out to a ladies' game night. This month, Paige (who also has a birthday this week), brought cake to surprise the group. We have another friend Lindsay who completes the birthday trio, but she wasn't able to get out. Happy 30ish!
