Living Coast Discovery Center

At the Barnard Silent Auction we won/bought a family pack to the  Living Coast Discovery Center. We had the opportunity to check it out today, and the kids had so much fun.

Live sea turtles and shark eggs you could touch! Their kind of "museum."

The sea turtles right out front could have
entertained them for the whole trip.

"Take a picture of me with the turtles!"

Action shot - Jefferson about to leap
off the viewing stool and run to safety.
Totally justified. That Moray Eel
leaped out from behind a rock with zero warning.

This spiral corkscrew "mermaids purse"
is not seaweed... it's a real life shark egg.

 Swimming in the "kelp" forest.

Jelly time.

 Sounds of the sea.

The back of the aquarium had a raptor aviary.
The chicks are hanging in their nest, taking a break.

And, we end this post about visiting the wild things with some post of our own wild things.

 Why our doorway is always
covered in footprints.

The junior climber.

 Me too! Like sissies!
