A Dinosaur Birthday

The terrible twos are over! Bring on the sweet threedom.

Happy birthday to Steven! Happy birthday to Jefferson! Okay, Jefferson still has 18 days to go after Steven. But, at this age, watching your brother have all the fun... well, it's not so fun. So, we celebrated them together. And, technically, Steven's birthday was yesterday... but we celebrated today because it's Saturday. Sorry for the date shifting boys... but, hooray, birthday time!

Their massive stuffed animals were too big to wrap, so they started off the day with cuddles and snuggles.

Since today was all about the birthday boys, we took them to the Natural History Museum to see the traveling dinosaur exhibit.

After we wore the boys out and put them down for naps, we were able to put out the party decor. Adelaide made them birthday signs, and the orange dinosaur cake (their special request) was set out.

Grandpa Thomas, Uncle David, and Aunt Karina all joined us for dinner, cake and ice cream. Then, finally, the boys got to open their presents. Hooray!
