This past weekend we had the opportunity to travel to Cedar City to celebrate the marriage of Matt's cousin Brianna and her new husband Shridhar. Matt's grandmother hosted a beautiful open house in her backyard and we had a chance to hug family members we haven't seen in ages. It was a quick trip, but oh so fun!
We were able to rent a home on Airbnb, just up the street from the Jones home. So, we were spoiled with an easy walk to see some of our favorite people. And, we were just a short block from Southern Utah University, where the kids had a blast seeing the statues and hunting pokemon was Uncle Wes.

After transforming her backyard to a beautiful reception area and cooking hundreds of mini-sandwiches and more... Grandma Jones turned around the very next morning to put on a huge pancake breakfast for the extended family. Wow!
Unfortunately, we had a long drive back to San Diego and had to eat and run without being able to chat much. Just quick hugs good bye after a wonderful weekend that was too short.
