We followed the sun to the Middle Kingdom, and are now catching zzz's in our hotel in Beijing.
Unfortunately our bags liked the hipster culture they found in San Francisco and decided to stay behind. Guess that happens when your Delta flight has mechanical problems as it's pulling out from the gate and you get re-routed on two different airlines and a new connection city.
Oh well! Change of underwear is SO overrated. And, it wouldn't be an adventure without the adventurous parts!

Long delays, broken planes and cross-terminal sprints
couldn't phase these silly sisters.
22 hours later....
We get to spend a couple days sight seeing in Beijing, and adjusting our internal time clocks, before we head down to Zhengzhou to pick up Steven (that day can't come soon enough). Maybe the airline will even find our luggage before we leave Beijing? We can hope!
