Christmas in California

Christmas in California is the best! After opening presents, you can take them outside to play in the warm sunshine. Though we love the SoCal weather, it seems our girls were still dreaming of a "White Christmas" or, rather, a Frozen one.

Red and green wrapping paper quickly gave way to white and turquoise Frozen puzzles, books, dolls, singing microphones, and more. Aunts, uncles, and grandparents spoiled the kids with all sorts of Disney goodies - and they were ecstatic!

Stockings full of candy, toothbrushes and socks! Wahoo!

The gasp that came out of her mouth
when she opened this Elsa doll from
Grandma Donna was priceless.

serenading her new Anna doll, which is lying on the
foam Frozen puzzle next to the Frozen sticker book.

After a Jensen family Christmas at home, we headed up to the house at Canyon Lake for Christmas dinner (and a few more presents) with Melinda's family. It was so fun to see everyone and exchange gifts and hugs in person.

 MORE Elsa!

Eleanor's favorite friend is Nova.

Christmas dinner was a feast!

Melinda's favorite two guys.

We stayed up at Canyon Lake for a few days, feeding the ducks, enjoying the Christmas lights on the lake, and spending time with people we like a lot. On Saturday evening, Melinda's parents flew back to Washington. That morning, we had one last hurrah and went to Tom's Farms to ride the train and merry-go-round.

Choo! Choo! Train ride around the farm.

Matt and the girls practiced their digger skills.

And Grandma found Frozen hats at the
craft fair in the parking lot. The girls
have been wearing these all break.

We're sad to see another Christmas season come and go. It's such a fun time of year to make memories and spend time together. And, we love being able to see so much family. Merry Christmas!
