We had a full (haunted) house this year!
Finally, it was time for costumes and trick-or-treating. The girls wanted to be Elsa and Anna, convenient since Melinda already had the costumes made. They had a lot of fun singing "Let It Go" and swinging their pumpkin buckets.
Melinda's parents came into town for some trick-or-treating fun. Jed and Eve joined us as well. The girls were so excited to have everyone around.
The first thing they did was tackle Grandma!
Tackled!
Then Adelaide did an awesome photobomb of her Aunt and Uncle. Check out that sweet face.

Elsa and Anna are back!
The neighborhood was a bit slow, so we headed out to our church trunk-or-treat. There we got the most delightful and wonderful surprise from Adelaide's sweet Sunday School teacher. She knew Adelaide couldn't eat most of her Halloween candy and had purchased a large bag of peanut-free sweets. She passed out handfuls to all the trunk-or-treat cars before we arrived and told them to give them out to the little Elsa.
Adelaide was in shock. A whole bucket of candy she could eat. Every single person brought out a lollipop, twizzlers or smarties, all her favorites. We are so grateful to Julie for doing such a thoughtful and kind thing for our kids.
