Grandma Barbara

A nice new perk about living on the West Coast is that people come to visit us. Hooray!

Matt's mother Barbara joined us this week and is staying through Thanksgiving. We are so excited to have her as a guest in our new house. Eleanor has been running around all weekend announcing, "I'm a granddaughter," and "That's a Grandma Barbara, and I'm a Eleanor Barbara." Having a grandma around is so fun.

We took Barbara to old town to check out the Mormon Battalion Museum, as she hadn't had a chance to visit since the remodel. What a great day walking around, enjoying the activities, and of course, eating at our favorite restaurant, Barra Barra.

So happy to be with Grandma.

Doing the laundry like a pioneer.

Bean Dip! Eleanor always gets her own bowl.

An adventurous woman commemorating
her adventurous sisters before her.

We were also able to take Barbara to meet Melinda's grandparents and have a delicious pre-Thanksgiving feast. Grandma Mikki's pomegranate tapioca beats pumpkin pie any day. Delish!

Eleanor loved hearing Grandma sing and play the guitar.
