Another birthday, another business trip. Since Matt was leaving us on his actual birthday, we celebrated over the weekend with our annual Matt-stravaganza.
On Saturday, Melinda surprised everyone with a movie in the morning, Rubios for lunch (a Matt favorite) and then laser tag in the afternoon. The boys loved running around yelling and firing at random. The girls took strategic sniper positions and picked them off over and over. So, all the kids had a good time. The boys were in charge of decorating Matt's cake and they did a fantastic job. The girls worked on a candy sign, so there was sugar aplenty.

Father's Day was quieter, but just as fun. We had a health breakfast of steel cut oats with fruit. Matt got to read some amazing cards for the kids, and we had dinner with Granny and Papa. A great weekend for a great dude. Love you Matt!
